Chicken Gravy

Ingredients

2 tbsp butter 2 tbsp flour
¼ tsp McCormick Grill Mates Chicken Rub 1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp paprika 1 c. chicken broth

Directions

  1. Melt butter in small saucepan on medium heat.
  2. Add flour, chicken rub, salt, & paprika.
  3. Stir with whisk.
  4. Gradually add chicken broth, stir until blended.
  5. Cook 2 minutes, until thick, stirring constantly.
  6. Remove from heat & let stand to thicken a little more.

5 Ingredient Apple Cake

Ingredients

1 pkg Yellow cake mix 21 oz. can apple pie filling
3 large eggs 3 tsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly grease a 13″x9″ pan.
  3. Combine cake mix, apple filling, & eggs.
  4. In separate container, combine sugar & cinnamon.
  5. Spread half the cake batter into the pan.
  6. Sprinkle with half the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  7. Spread the rest of batter into pan & top with rest of sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  8. Bake 30-35 minutes.
  9. Test center with toothpick, if it comes out clean it’s done.

Meatballs

Serves Approx. 24

Ingredients

1lb. ground sirloin 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 large egg ½ c. Italian bread crumbs
¼ c. shredded Romano, Parmesan, & Asiago cheese blend 1 tsp McCormick California Style Crushed Garlic
salt & pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Combine all ingredients in large bowl.
  3. Roll into ½” balls.
  4. Place on greased sheet or shallow pan.
  5. Bake 10-12 minutes, until no longer pink.

Chicken Strips

Serves 2-4

Ingredients

8 chicken breast tenderloins 3 large eggs
½ c. water 3 c. flour
1 tbsp salt 1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp oregano 1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika 1 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat deep fryer to 375°F (using oil of choice).
  2. Combine eggs & water in bowl.
  3. In separate bowl, mix remaining dry ingredients.
  4. Dip chicken strips in egg mixture.
  5. Then, roll strips in the flour mixture.
  6. Repeat steps 4 & 5 for a second coating.
  7. Fry strips, 2-4 at a time, in deep fryer for 5-8 minutes or until deeply golden.
